Structural characteristics

Gates are widely used in power, water conservancy, environmental protection, chemical, municipal water supply and drainage, and sewage treatment projects. They are movable structural components used for opening and closing or partially opening and closing water passages in hydraulic structures. Their main function is to stop water, control water level, or regulate flow.

The SPM series flat gate consists of a gate body and a guide groove installed on the water chamber wall, equipped with a balance valve or water filling balance hole, mainly used for front and back water stop. The gate is opened and closed by a crane or a dedicated grabbing beam to achieve isolation and establish conditions for the system equipment.

The SRM series radial gate has the same function as the flat gate, but the operation method is different.

The above series of gates are steel structural components and can be equipped with hydraulic opening and closing mechanisms. Install hydraulic jacks, high-pressure oil pipes, and electric high-pressure pump stations on the flat steel gate. The high-pressure pump station uses high-pressure hoses to input hydraulic oil into the working cylinder of the jack to lift the piston, compress the gate guide groove, and make the rubber seal of the steel gate tightly adhere to the water stop surface of the gate groove, achieving the purpose of water stop.

When the equipment is used in seawater conditions, sacrificial anodes are used for protection.
