Grille (also known as steel grating) is welded from flat steel and section steel and is used for large water intake structures, sewage and rainwater lifting pump stations, sewage treatment plants, etc. Its main function is to isolate large floating objects such as plants, garbage, and fiber materials from entering the inlet.

The width of the gap between the grid bars can be set according to the method of removing dirt and the requirements of related equipment such as water pumps. It can be divided into coarse grid, medium grid, and fine grid according to the size of the spacing between the grid bars. According to the cleaning methods of the grid, it can also be divided into three types: artificial grid, mechanical grid, and hydraulic cleaning grid. The manual clearance of the grid gap is generally 16-25mm. The grid in front of the sedimentation tank or settling tank is generally 15-30mm, with a Z-size of 40mm.

The LWC series is a coarse grille consisting of a grille body and guide rails fixed to the water chamber wall through support members. It is usually placed at the inlet of the water channel to intercept larger floating objects. The grille body is welded with rectangular section grille bars and support frames, and is matched with guide blocks and guide rails. The grille can be lifted and lowered as a whole in the guide rail groove and can be disassembled.

The LWX series is a fine grille, consisting of rectangular section grille strips welded together in blocks, and connected to the support beam of the inlet channel with bolts as a whole. Compared to LWC, it is a secondary trash rack that blocks smaller sized garbage.
